What is included with a SynAudCon Membership?

Your SynAudCon Membership includes:

• the entire online course “Principles of Audio – Level 100″. This course covers the essential fundamentals for any audio-related field, and is suggested as a prerequisite for all other levels of SynAudCon training. We strongly suggest that all Members of the SynAudCon Community complete this course.
• a customized, searchable Member Profile for you to create your presence within the SynAudCon Community – List your affiliations, certifications, websites, contact information and more….find other industry professionals to assist you with your education or professional endeavors.
• permission to comment and participate in our Blogs and Discussion Groups.

Am I required to be listed in your search directory of Professionals?

No. Our highly functional Dashboard allows you to control how much, if any, information you wish to disclose about your self.

How do I manage my member profile?

You manage every aspect of your presence in our Community via your Dashboard. Each and everytime you login, you will be immediately taken to your Dashboard.

Is there a time limit on watching the online training?

The online training that is currently available (Level 100 – Principles of Audio) is included in your SynAudCon membership. We feel it is important for everyone to have good understanding of this information. The membership is annual and is renewed at a discount rate (1/2-price). However, if you allow your membership to lapse, you will no longer get the discounted price. SynAudCon will send email reminders at various intervals as your expiration date approaches to assist you in keeping your Membership current.

Are the SynAudCon Articles now available to everyone?

Yes, SynAudCon articles are now public. Other aspects of the SynAudCon site are only for the SynAudCon community.

Does the SynAudCon Membership still include monthly electronic newsletters?

The monthly electronic newsletter has been replaced by dynamic content that includes blogs and updates to the Level 100 online training. We suggest that you subscribe to the RSS feed to be notified of new content. Pat will post to his technical blog on a regular basis, providing a more consistent and efficient stream of information than provided by a monthly publication. We feel that this is more consistent with how people utilize the web as an information resource.
