Welcome to SynAudCon’s New Website

As most of you know, for the last five months SynAudCon has been working with a team to develop a new website and online training. Finally, it is time to share the initial release with you. Needless to say, we are very excited.

We would like to briefly list the major changes to our new online presence.

• We feel it is very important for every interested audio practitioner to understand the essential principles of audio. To help accomplish this, we included the first phase of the online training as part of the SynAudCon Membership. It is called Level 100 – Principles of Audio. These are the essential fundamentals for any audio-related field. They are the principles upon which all other principles are built. Making the Level 100 online training part of the membership allows the individual to always have access to this information. Information about the Online Training and In-Person Training is under Training.
• We now will be referring to our Membership as a Community. Our Email Discussion Group is a perfect example of synergetic interactivity among our members. We feel like we can encourage similar interaction by changing the electronic newsletter to a blog format.  A blog makes it easier for our members to share information with each other.
• The SynAudCon individual membership fee (which includes the Level 100 training) is $199 annually. Our current members may renew their membership for $99. What a deal!!!  This is our way of thanking you for your patience during the transition process. The Community will be stronger and more productive if everyone within the Community has access to this resource. The bloggers and posts from the Email Discussion Group may occasionally refer to elements of the online training, so we want to make it available to all of our members.
• Our nearly 4 decades of SynAudCon articles are now available to the general public. You may link to them to enhance your interaction with your customers. We have converted the last 5 years of Newsletter Articles to html format for search engine optimization. We also added educational links from our sponsors. This information is under Resources.

We realize it is going to take a little time for everyone to get adjusted to the changes. We are hopeful that the result will be a stronger audio Community to serve the public and each other.
