Pat Brown is a 1978 graduate of the University of Lousiville with a degree in electrical engineering technology. With a background as a musician, sound technician, retail music store owner, contractor, and consultant, he is familiar with the many aspects of audio.
He served as an associate instructor to audio legend and Syn-Aud-Con founder, Don Davis. Pat has the unique gift of being able to share his knowledge of complex technical topics in an easy-to-understand manner.
Pat along with his wife Brenda are the editors of the Syn-Aud-Con Newsletter. This is a quarterly publication for the Syn-Aud-Con Members. He also writes articles for trade magazines and authored three chapters for Glen Ballou's "Handbook for Sound Engineers".
Pat is also the president of Electro-Acoustic Testing Company, Inc. (ETC). ETC provides precision loudspeaker testing for the audio industry. His expereince with loudspeaker testing allows him to bring that much more information to the seminars.
