The emphasis will be on ECS, but the principles apply to systems of all types.

The Venue

Speech Intelligibility workshop has been at the top of our list for several years. With the new NFPA-72 and UL2572 laws, we felt even more urgency. Earlier this year, we found the perfect venue for such an event – “American Airlines Training and Conference Center.” This facility has a mock-up of Chicago’s O’Hare Airport terminal with an adjacent 300 seat auditorium.

It comes complete with a reverberant field, arch ceilings, large windows – all the problems that plague large spaces.

Dates: January 3-5, 2013

Why those dates? Training for American Airline employees is closed during that time. This means that we have the complex to ourselves. The venue is perfect for demonstrations. It’s time to get creative and have fun.
Never again will you get an opportunity to learn from the experts in a venue where they will not only explain the principles but demonstrate them.

Seminar Location: The seminar will be located at the American Airline Training and Conference Center. It is located 6 miles from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).

Hotel Sleeping Rooms: The American Airlines Training and Conference Center has sleeping rooms on site. We have sleeping rooms reserved at the for the rate of $69/night. FAQ

I am scheduling a flight, what are the class times?

The class starts at 8:30 am and ends at 5:00 pm each day. The doors to the classroom are open at 8:00 am. Typically, we do not end early on the last day.

What does the seminar fee include?

The fee includes the instruction, class materials (full color manual, support CD, and certificate of completion), All day beverage service, breakfast, snacks, and lunch. You are responsible for your dinner and overnight accommodations.

My company uses purchase orders, what is the best way to register?

Please call (812-923-0174) or email me (bbrown@synaudcon.com) your purchase order information. I will register you for the class and send you the required paperwork.

Will I get a confirmation after registering online?

You will receive an immediate confirmation and a credit card receipt if you sign up online. There will be an activation link to the course. Please activate the link with the name of the person who will be attending the workshop.
I will email you a confirmation receipt if the registration is processed by phone or USPS.

I will send another email about a week before the class with last-minute reminders. It is very important that you read this. It will contain information about "what to bring", location, times, special events etc.

Who provides lunch?

SynAudCon provides all-day beverage service, breakfast, snacks and a lunch each day. We like to encourage “synergy” among the seminar attendees. If you need a special diet, tell me on the first morning. The hotels are usually very good at accommodating us in this regard.
